2014 not only marked Dolby's 50th Anniversary, but the first time that 4 offices with over 800 employees consolidated to newly remodeled building in the heart of San Francisco. With this landmark time in the company's history comes a daunting sense of responsibility: How can our new headquarters inspire and drive the next 50 years of innovation?

The featured works throughout the building lay on a spectrum that starts with looking at our history. By unlocking our archives and featuring insider stories of behind-the-scenes discovery, we pay homage to all that has made Dolby what it is today. An equal effort was placed on looking to our future. We included pieces inspired by Dolby’s past (taken up a notch with visual twists) and works that aim to inspire the future of Dolby to drive the next 50 years of innovation.
