The above study was conducted to better understand what people wanted from a wireless speaker system and preferred placement based
on size, shape, and quantity. It involved participants taking home collapsible box groupings that represented speakers to be placed wherever they felt best.
Key learnings from this study laid the foundation for a product that placed people and living rooms first, prior to establishing speaker performance requirements.
Dual orientation speakers fit into more places within a home while also enabling the system to deliver overhead sounds via upward firing speakers.
